Christmas at St. Paul's

Tri-Church and Christmas

The Christmas season is truly a spirited time at St. Paul's. Since 1956, St. Paul's has combined with Bull Street Baptist and St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, to help put together a Tri-Church Festival. The festival includes a nativity scene, scripture readings, and seasonal hymns and music. To this day, this annual tradition continues on the steps of the three churches.

Another tradition in the church is the decorating of two tall trees placed on either side of the altar with ornaments made by members of the congregation. The trees are put up at the beginning of Advent and stand tall until after Christmas. On Christmas Eve, beautiful poinsettias are placed all around the church and truly add to the beautiful time of year within the church.
